Title: New Mexican Red Chile Sauce
Categories: Condiment Hot Sauce
Yield: 2 Cups

1/3cNew Mexico red chile powder; mild, medium or hot
4lgClove chopped garlic
1tbButter
1 1/2cChicken stock
1/2cTomato sauce

Combine all ingredients in a medium-size saucepan.

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.

Cool before using.
